Three Bees in Queen Anne's Lace
Three Bees in Queen Anne's Lace
I began this painting with the intention of it being a field of Bee Balm. I soon saw a resemblance of Queen Anne’s Lace begin to emerge, and got really excited as I’ve always wondered how I would paint it whenever I see it, which is often. Flecks of goldenrod are glimpsed throughout, as the two often grow near one another.
