"Blossoming Winds"
Two cardinals are depicted within a vibrantly colorful floral landscape. This painting was a revision of “Billowing Winds”, which originally featured two cardinals in a wintery neutral color palette. A combination of round dots and ovals are utilized. Ovals give the impression of movement, while the round dots convey a suspended buoyancy, such as in flowers.

Three Bees in Queen Anne's lace
Available at 302 Gallery in Bridgton, ME
I began this painting with the intention of it being a field of Bee Balm. I soon saw a resemblance of Queen Anne’s Lace begin to emerge, and added flecks of goldenrod are glimpsed throughout, as the two often grow near one another. 16”x20” Acrylic on Canvas

"In the BackYard"
Laying in the grass on a summer day, one can’t help but notice so many little insects frolicking within even a small area. Looking closely at this painting, you’ll notice a monarch, dragonfly, little moths, ladybugs, bumblebees, a wasp, cricket and grasshopper amongst the grass and wildflowers against the afternoon sun.

"The Light Dancer"
I enjoy rollerblading all throughout the summer months, and typically when I go, it’s just before dusk. Often at that time of day the dragonflies are out in full force, and fly in a fleet right alongside me. It’s really spectacular! The Light Dancer explores the light reflection and refraction that surrounds the dragonfly in flight.

Hummingbird in Flight VII (Whir)
Hummingbirds never fail to win me over with their spritely charm. Appearing in an instant, they manage to capture and fly off with your attention as quickly as they enter the scene.
