River Under the Stars is an earthly, yet cosmic, landscape. Primarily painted in a kinetic pointillist style, the rocks on the lower left side appear more impressionistic and ground the viewer into the landscape, while giving the feeling that one could easily float up to the cosmos. The night sky swirls with glowing stars and colors of the Milky Way.
